Tribute Party Nov 11th @Belmont

Ken Garner and the Garner family invite you to join us for a a tribute show and party in memory of our dear friend, hip hop promoter, and founder of Escape Entertainment, Matt Dutch Garner who's murder has yet to be solved. The event will be held on Sunday November 11, 2012 at Le Belmont located at 4483 St-Laurent Blvd in commemoration of the one year anniversary of his passing. The event will feature performances by some of Montreal's finest hip hop artists as well as spoken word poetry, stand-up comedy, dance and videos. A tribute room will feature memorabilia including photos, posters and other personal items showcased in memory of Dutch's life. This intimate party will also feature domino games, signature Dutch cocktails and a new line of Success Clothing hoodies designed in his honour. Proceeds from the hoodies will be donated to L.O.V.E (Leave Out Violence) in Matt's name. L.O.V.E. is an organization who's mission is to reduce violence in the lives of youth and in our communities by building a team of youth who communicate a message of non-violence. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance at Moog Audio, Lunetz, City Styles, Off The Hook, Sub V, High Times or at the event. Doors open at 7:00pm. Bring your friends to this special, intimate night. We'll see you there!

This show was highly anticipated and was sold out the night of the show. Unfortunately there were held at the Canadian border and rumours are stating that Asap rocky was arrested.. No confirmations have surfaced but as it stands there are a lot of disappointed montreal fans, and that was confirmed!
